Operating through various groups (Co-ops, nonprofits or Municipal Housing Bureau), GRTs’ mandate is to promote social inclusion and reduce inequalities through provision of quality, affordable housing for low- and moderate-income households.
GRTs coordinate all project phases and act as an intermediary between project instigators, public administrations, building contractors and other professionals (architects, notaries, engineers).
Community Real-Estate
The ROMEL GRT is mandated to promote social inclusion and reduce inequalities by supporting and coaching various groups (Co-ops, nonprofits or Municipal Housing Bureau) and providing quality affordable housing for low- and moderate-income households. The GRT coordinates all project phases and acts as an intermediary between project instigators, public administrations, building contractors and other professionals (architects, notaries, engineers).
The ROMEL GRT has completed a total of nearly 2,000 community and social housing units to this day. Our scope of intervention covers the whole island of Montreal.
