Update on prevention measures

Dear Partners and collaborators,

On March 16th, we announced a series of measures that ROMEL undertook to protect its staff, clients and partners against the pandemic.

Since that date, we added additionel internal measures in order to improve office and staff safety awaiting an eventual return to normal activities. These measures include reinforcing social distancing and a secure work environment. Till then, please be advised of the following update:

1. The housing data bank will remain closed for personal interaction. However, a member of the staff is now able to answer your phones as follows:

- Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- At any time during the week, you may leave a message on our answering machine (ext 200), and we will reply the same week at the latest.
- All of your email messages will be treated within 24 to 48 hours from their reception.

2.  The information and training sessions remain on hold. we are currently exploring the possibilitéy of offering videoconferencing sessions. this option is a challenge that we hope to be able to face.
3. The property management services remain active with reduced travelling for the staff.
4. The technical resources group (GRT) remain also active with a limited presence at the office, and mostly working from home.

Our offices will remain closed for the public till further notice, and awaiting instructions from the competent authorities. In any case,  resuming normal acitivities will be progressive.

We thank you all for your understanding and your cooperation, and we encourage you to keep in place your preventive measures. Your health and safety is a priority.
